  • Original author: Brent R. Matzelle (2001-2007)
    Brent Matzelle was the founder of the project up to version 1.73
    Version 1.7.3 was released on June 10 2005.
  • Author: Andy Prevost (Nov 2007 to Dec 2012)
    Andy Prevost released a few small patches up to the first full release of Version 2.0.0rc1 in Nov 2007.
    Marcus Bointon became an contributor (unnamed) on the project starting with version 5.0.0 leading to that version release in Apr 2009.

    project split to Apache incubator project

    Marcus Bointon was instrumental in the release of version 5.2.8 in July 2011
